Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of piezoelectric bulk-acoustic-wave resonators as detectors in viscous conductive liquids
TL;DR: An analytical solution for the resonance condition of a piezoelectric quartz resonator with one surface in contact with a viscous conductive liquid is presented and good agreement with the theory on the use of quartz crystal resonators as conductivity and/or viscosity sensors is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the use of ZX-LiNbO3 acoustic plate mode devices as detectors for dilute electrolytes
TL;DR: In this article, an acoustic plate mode (APM) device on Z-cut, X-propagating LiNbO3, a high piezoelectric coupling material, is investigated as detectors in dilute electrolyte or metal-ion solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Theory and application of a quartz resonator as a sensor for viscous liquids
TL;DR: In this article, a comprehensive analysis of the interaction between an AT-cut quartz crystal resonator and a viscous fluid is presented, which includes peizoelectric effects, assuming a liquid of finite extent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactions of rhenium and manganese carbonyl complexes with 1,8-bis(diphenylphosphino)naphthalene: Ligand chelation, C–H and C–P bond-cleavage reactions
Shariff E. Kabir,Faruque Ahmed,Shishir Ghosh,Mohammad R. Hassan,Muhammad S. Islam,Ayesha Sharmin,Derek A. Tocher,Daniel T. Haworth,Sergey V. Lindeman,Tasneem A. Siddiquee,Dennis W. Bennett,Kenneth I. Hardcastle +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the XRD structures of complexes 1-3, 5, 6 are reported, which are formed by Re-Re bond cleavage and P-C and C-H bond activation of the dppn ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI
New Mixed-Metal Carbonyl Complexes Containing Bridging 2-Mercapto-1-methylimidazole Ligand
Shishir Ghosh,Shariff E. Kabir,Salina Pervin,G. M. Golzar Hossain,Daniel T. Haworth,Sergey V. Lindeman,Tasneem A. Siddiquee,Dennis W. Bennett,Herbert W. Roesky +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that 2-mercapto-1methylimidazole can be used to obtain a tri-, tri-, and tetranuclear trinuclear compound.
