Journal ArticleDOI
Anxiety and depression symptoms after virological clearance of COVID-19: A cross-sectional study in Milan, Italy.
Daniele Tomasoni,Francesca Bai,Roberto Castoldi,Diletta Barbanotti,Camilla Falcinella,Giovanni Mulè,Debora Mondatore,Alessandro Tavelli,Elena Vegni,Giulia Marchetti,Antonella d'Arminio Monforte +10 more
TL;DR: Investigation of prevalence of anxiety or depression in coronavirus disease 2019 patients at 1 to 3 months from virological clearance by hospital anxiety and depression scale found pathological patients with HADS‐A/D more commonly reported symptom persistence, even after adjustment for age, gender, and disease severity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association between previous infection with SARS CoV-2 and the risk of self-reported symptoms after mRNA BNT162b2 vaccination: Data from 3,078 health care workers
Antonella d'Arminio Monforte,Alessandro Tavelli,Pier Mario Perrone,Alessandro Za,Katia Razzini,Daniele Tomasoni,Vittorio Bordoni,Luisa Romanò,Nicola Orfeo,Giulia Marchetti,Claudio Colosio +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated whether the risk of severe and moderate systemic symptoms (MSS) after vaccination is higher in HCWs with a history of previous COVID-19 and identified factors associated to MSS by logistic regression.
Journal ArticleDOI
The importance of patients' case-mix for the correct interpretation of the hospital fatality rate in COVID-19 disease
Antonella d'Arminio Monforte,Alessandro Tavelli,Francesca Bai,Daniele Tomasoni,Camilla Falcinella,Roberto Castoldi,Diletta Barbanotti,Giovanni Mulè,Marina Allegrini,Daniele Tesoro,Gianmarco Tagliaferri,Debora Mondatore,Matteo Augello,Andrea Cona,Giuseppe Ancona,Lidia Gazzola,Nathalie Iannotti,Camilla Tincati,Ottavia Viganò,Anna De Bona,Teresa Bini,Alessandro Cozzi-Lepri,Giulia Marchetti +22 more
TL;DR: The unusual fatality rate in the authors' setting is likely to be related to age and the clinical conditions of their patients, and these findings may be useful to better allocate resources of the national healthcare system, in case of re-intensification of COVID-19 epidemics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Declining Mortality Rate of Hospitalised Patients in the Second Wave of the COVID-19 Epidemics in Italy: Risk Factors and the Age-Specific Patterns.
Antonella d'Arminio Monforte,Alessandro Tavelli,Francesca Bai,Daniele Tomasoni,Camilla Falcinella,Roberto Castoldi,Diletta Barbanotti,Giovanni Mulè,Marina Allegrini,Elisa Suardi,Daniele Tesoro,Gianmarco Tagliaferri,Debora Mondatore,Matteo Augello,Andrea Cona,Tomaso Beringheli,Nicole Gemignani,Matteo Sala,Benedetta Varisco,Francesco Molà,Sofia Pettenuzzo,Lorenzo Biasioli,Alessandro Copes,Lidia Gazzola,Ottavia Viganò,Camilla Tincati,Anna De Bona,Teresa Bini,Giulia Marchetti +28 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a flow diagram was created to determine the rate of in-hospital death according to individual and disease characteristics, and the authors verified whether there were clusters of hospitalised patients who particularly benefited from reduced mortality rate.
