Dislocation Glide in the Presence of Either Solute Atoms or Glissile Loops
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of obstacles on the dynamics of edge dislocation in two situations: a dislocation of a-iron encounters copper atoms in solution and it was found that the effect on dislocation velocity under constant stress below the static Peierls stress is strong.

TL;DR: In this article , an alternative calibration of the MagLim lens sample redshift distributions from the Dark Energy Survey (DES) first three years of data (Y3) is presented, which is based on a combination of a Self-Organising Maps based scheme and clustering redshifts to estimate redshift distribution and inherent uncertainties.
Journal ArticleDOI
Weak lensing predictions for modified gravities at non-linear scales
TL;DR: In this paper, a set of predictions for weak lensing correlation functions in the context of modified gravity models, including a prescription for the impact of the nonlinear power spectrum regime in these models, were presented.
Cosmology with SKA radio continuum surveys
Matt J. Jarvis,Matt J. Jarvis,David Bacon,Chris Blake,Michael L. Brown,Sam N. Lindsay,Alvise Raccanelli,Mario G. Santos,Dominik J. Schwarz +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that the SKA can play a unique role in constraining the non-Gaussianity parameter to \sigma(f_NL) ~ 1, and provide a unique handle on the systematics that inhibit weak lensing surveys.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the properties of bright (MV <= -18) barred and unbarred disks in the Abell 901/902 cluster system at z~0.165 with the STAGES HST ACS survey.
