Mycoflora and multimycotoxin detection in corn silage: Experimental study
TL;DR: An experimental study of fungal species and mycotoxins was conducted in corn silage (Normandy, France) during 9 months of monitoring, which suggested a possible chronic exposure to low levels of mycotoxin.
Journal ArticleDOI
Toxigenic fungi and mycotoxins in mature corn silage
Eric Richard,Natacha Heutte,Lucile Sage,Didier Pottier,Valérie Bouchart,Pierre Lebailly,David Garon +6 more
TL;DR: The screening of potentially toxigenic fungi isolated from the mature silage showed that six Fusaria and one Aspergillus were able to produce mycotoxins on nutrient agar, which was associated with the presence of A. fumigatus in the silage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of fungal contamination and mycotoxin production in maize silage
TL;DR: Results indicate that the combination of PCR and HPLC–MS can be used to assess fungal quality of maize silages and reveal three potentially toxigenic groups of fungi and A. fumigatus.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fungal microflora and ochratoxin a risk in French vineyards.
TL;DR: An exhaustive survey of the fungal microflora of 60 grape samples was carried out at two development stages of the berries, and only A. carbonarius, isolated from the Languedoc region at harvest time, was found to produce ochratoxin A.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of surfactants on solubilization and fungal degradation of fluorene
TL;DR: Results showed good tolerance of nonionic surfactants by the fungal strains and the enhancement of the biodegradation of fluorene by Doratomyces stemonitis and Penicillium chrysogenum in the presence of Tween 80 after 2 days.
