PipPhos and MorfPhos: Privileged monodentate phosphoramidite ligands for rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation

TL;DR: A library of 20 monodentate phosphoramidite ligands has been prepared and applied in rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation, resulting in the identification of two ligands, PipPhos and MorfPhos, that afford excellent and in several cases unprecedented enantioselectivities in the hydrogenation of N-acyldehydroamino acid esters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of monodentate secondary phosphine oxides, a new class of chiral ligands, in Ir(I)-catalyzed asymmetric imine hydrogenation

TL;DR: Using pyridine as an additive allowed reduction of the L/Ir ratio to 1 without reduction of ee, and these new monodentate ligands were tested in the iridium-catalyzed hydrogenation of imines at 25 bar.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kinetic studies on the Rhizomucor miehei lipase catalyzed esterification reaction of oleic acid with 1-butanol in a biphasic system

TL;DR: In this paper, the kinetics of the esterification of oleic acid with 1-butanol catalyzed by free Rhizomucor miehei lipase in a biphasic system was studied in a batch reactor.
