Single-Phase Series Compensator Circuit for Mitigating Voltage Sag or Swell in the Power System Networks - Methodology and Modelling
Harshal D. Vaidya,Mahajan Sagar Bhaskar,Nikita Gupta,Padmanaban Sanjeevikumar,Dhafer Almakhles,Subramaniam Umashankar,Zbigniew Leonowicz +6 more
TL;DR: This article deals with modelling, methodology and simulation of a Series Compensator Circuit (SCC), which helps in injecting the voltage in synchronism with the standard system voltage to compensate the voltage influences in the situation of voltage disturbance.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
3Nx DC-DC Converter: Interleaved Topology To Enhance Voltage Transfer Gain
Nikita Gupta,Nil Patel,Mahajan Sagar Bhaskar,Sanjeevikumar Padmanaban,Dhafer Almakhles,Umashankar Subramaniam +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a 3Nx DC-DC converter is proposed for high voltage gain application, which fuses the characteristics of 2Nx power converter and Nx DC converter, where voltage multiplier and switched inductor cells are used to improve voltage gain.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Generalized One-Bit Control System Using a $\Delta\Sigma$ -Quantizer
Dhafer Almakhles,Rathinasamy Sakthivel,Akshya Swain,Umashankar Subramaniam,Khaled Mohamad Almustafa +4 more
TL;DR: Under the convergence condition, the binary signals generated by delta-sigma quantizers in the one-bit control system effectively replace their counterpart signals in conventional control systems, enabling a significant reduction in the number of multipliers and overall hardware cost for computing the control laws in one- bit control systems.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Study of Basic Units and Simulation of Passive Light Emitting Diode (LED) Driver Configurations
Dalvi Snehal Ramchandra,Mahajan Sagar Bhaskar,Padmanaban Sanjeevikumar,Massimo Mitolo,Dhafer Almakhles,Jens Bo Holm-Nielsen +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison of LED driver configurations is presented, and their waveform characteristics are examined and analyzed through simulation, and each LED driver configuration is validated through simulation and analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sliding mode control as binary‐based quantizers
TL;DR: The stability conditions of both continuous and discrete‐time switched control systems which are embedded with SMQs and quasi‐sliding mode quantizers (QSMQs), respectively are derived.
