Self-assembled mononuclear palladium(II) based molecular loops

TL;DR: The meta-pyridine appended bidentate ligands L1, L2 and L3, crafted with flexible polyether spacer, are prepared by condensation of nicotinoyl chloride hydrochloride with di, tri-, and tetra-ethylene glycol, respectively self-assembled palladium(II) based mononuclear molecular loops of general formula cis-[Pd(N-N)(L)](NO3)2] as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-assembled gold nanofilms as a simple, recoverable and recyclable catalyst for nitro-reduction

TL;DR: In this article, a hexaazamacrocycle (L) stabilized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were prepared by combining L with HAuCl4 center dot 3H(2)O in a variety of alcohol-water mixtures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-assembly of self-assembled molecular triangles

TL;DR: In this paper, a rare variety of self-assembled molecular triangle [Pd3(bpy)3(imidazolate)3](NO3)3, 1] is prepared by the combination of Pd3bpy)(NO3), 2 with imidazole, at 1:1 ratio, in acetonitrile-water.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new class of self-assembly multinuclear Pt(II) coordination cages by a modular approach

TL;DR: In this paper, the formation of three examples of self-assembly Pt(II) cage molecules of general formula [Pt m (ligand) n ](NO 3 ) 2 m is achieved from Pt (II) and ligands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of cis-protecting groups toward ligand exchange reactions in polynuclear Pd(II)-based coordination cages

TL;DR: In this paper, it was suggested that 2,2′-bipyridyl (bpy) is a better cis-protecting group for Pd(II)-based self-assembly coordination cage compounds particularly when dissolution of the assemblies in polar solvents and heating of the resultant solution is required.
