Supramolecular design of one-dimensional coordination polymers based on silver(I) complexes of aromatic nitrogen-donor ligands

TL;DR: In this article, the design and structure of coordination polymers derived from Ag(I) with N-donor ligands and their role in the investigation of weak non-covalent interactions in the solid state are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long-range chain orientation in 1-D co-ordination polymers as a function of anions and intermolecular aromatic interactions

TL;DR: The influence of anions and intermolecular aromatic interactions on the orientation of one-dimensional linear chain co-ordination polymers has been studied in this article, where the arrangement of the chains with respect to each other in the solid state is discussed and evaluated in terms of the relative coordinating ability of the anion used and the tendency of the N-donor ligand to adopt inter-merchant aromatic interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modern Trends of Organic Chemistry in Russian Universities

A. I. Konovalov, +84 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a review devoted to the scientific achievements of the departments of organic chemistry in higher schools of Russia within the past decade is presented, focusing on the recent years of the 1990s.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental and Computational Studies of Hydrogen Bonding and Proton Transfer to [Cp*Fe(dppe)H]

TL;DR: Experimental and computational investigations of the interaction between [Cp*Fe(dppe)H] and different proton donors (HA) reproduce all the qualitative findings, provided the correct number of proton donor molecules are used in the model.
Journal ArticleDOI

New organogold(i) complexes : synthesis, structure, and dynamic behavior of the polynuclear organogold diphenylmethane and diphenylethane derivatives

TL;DR: Two organogold derivatives of diphenylmethane and diphenylethane have been synthesized by the reaction of ClAuPPh3 with Li(o-C6H4)CH2(C6 H4-o)Li and Li( o-C 6H4)(CH2)2 (C 6 H4)-Li respectively.
