Dynamics of the semiconductor-metal transition induced by infrared illumination in Pb1-xSnx Te(In) alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of infrared illumination on the photo effect and showed that the time dependence of the residual photoconductivity is described by a power law, the relaxation time being ≈ 10 4 s at temperatures T ⩽ 20 K.
Journal ArticleDOI
Terahertz Photoconductivity in Hg 1- x Cd x Te near the transition from the direct to inverted spectrum
A. V. Galeeva,A. I. Artamkin,Nikolay N. Mikhailov,S. A. Dvoretskii,Sergey Danilov,Ludmila I. Ryabova,Dmitriy R. Khokhlov,Dmitriy R. Khokhlov +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the transition from the direct to inverted spectrum is accompanied by the sign change for the signals related to the terahertz photoconductivity and to the magnetophotogalvanic effect.
Journal ArticleDOI
Local unequilibrium states in Pb1−xSnxTe(In) (x=0.25)
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that local long-life unequilibrium states are generated in Pb1−xSnxTe(In) alloys at the low temperatures under the action of local light excitation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transport and Magnetic Properties of Pb_{1-x}Mn_xTe Doped with Cr and Mo
A. I. Artamkin,Alexander Kozhanov,M. Arciszewska,Witold Dobrowolski,Tomasz Story,E.I. Slynko,W. E. Slynko,Dmitriy R. Khokhlov +7 more

Journal ArticleDOI
Apparent PT-symmetric terahertz photoconductivity in the topological phase of Hg 1-x Cd x Te-based structures.
A. V. Galeeva,A. S. Kazakov,A. I. Artamkin,Ludmila I. Ryabova,S. A. Dvoretsky,N. N. Mikhailov,M. I. Bannikov,Sergey Danilov,Dmitriy R. Khokhlov,Dmitriy R. Khokhlov +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the terahertz photoconductivity in the topological phase of Hg1–xCdxTe-based structures exhibits the apparent PT- (parity-time) symmetry whereas the P- and T-symmetry, separately, are not conserved, which contradicts the apparent symmetry arguments.
