Difluoromethylene Phosphabetaine as an Equivalent of Difluoromethyl Carbanion
Vitalij V. Levin,Alexey L. Trifonov,Artem A. Zemtsov,Marina I. Struchkova,Dmitry E. Arkhipov,Dmitry E. Arkhipov,Alexander D. Dilman +6 more
TL;DR: A method for nucleophilic difluoromethylation of reactive Michael acceptors, aldehydes, and azomethines is described, which involves interaction of an electrophilic substrate with in situ generated diffluorinated phosphonium ylide followed by hydrolysis of the carbon-phosphorus bond under mild conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solvent-controlled synthesis of tetranuclear cage-like copper(II) silsesquioxanes. Remarkable features of the cage structures and their high catalytic activity in oxidation with peroxides.
Marina S. Dronova,Marina S. Dronova,Alexey N. Bilyachenko,Alexey I. Yalymov,Yuriy N. Kozlov,Lidia S. Shul’pina,Alexander A. Korlyukov,Dmitry E. Arkhipov,Mikhail M. Levitsky,Elena S. Shubina,Georgiy B. Shul'pin +10 more
TL;DR: It has been found that the reaction of benzene with H2O2 in acetonitrile solution at 50 °C catalyzed by 1 requires addition of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in low concentration and gives phenol with a turnover number (TON) of 250 after 3 h.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cage-like copper(II) silsesquioxanes: transmetalation reactions and structural, quantum chemical, and catalytic studies.
Alexey N. Bilyachenko,Marina S. Dronova,Alexey I. Yalymov,Frédéric Lamaty,Xavier Bantreil,Jean Martinez,Christelle Bizet,Lidia S. Shul’pina,Alexander A. Korlyukov,Alexander A. Korlyukov,Dmitry E. Arkhipov,Mikhail M. Levitsky,Elena S. Shubina,Alexander M. Kirillov,Georgiy B. Shul'pin +14 more
TL;DR: The transmetalation of bimetallic copper-sodium silsesquioxane cages, namely, PhSiO1.5, resulted in the generation of three types of hexanuclear cylinder-like coppersilsesqui- oxanes, which show a prominent "solvating system-structure" dependency, as determined by X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Binuclear Cage‐Like Copper(II) Silsesquioxane (“Cooling Tower”) – Its High Catalytic Activity in the Oxidation of Benzene and Alcohols
Alexey N. Bilyachenko,Marina S. Dronova,Alexey I. Yalymov,Alexander A. Korlyukov,Lidia S. Shul’pina,Dmitry E. Arkhipov,Elena S. Shubina,Mikhail M. Levitsky,A. D. Kirilin,Georgiy B. Shul'pin +9 more
TL;DR: The cover image illustrates a symbolic process of benzene/alcohol oxidation by the binuclear cage-like copper(II) silsesquioxane with an unprecedented structure (Cooling Tower).
Journal ArticleDOI
Fluorocyanation of enamines.
Alexander D. Dilman,Pavel A. Belyakov,Marina I. Struchkova,Dmitry E. Arkhipov,Alexander A. Korlyukov,Vladimir A. Tartakovsky +5 more
TL;DR: A method for the fluorocyanation of enamines has been described and involves fluorination of the electron rich double bond with N-F reagent (Selectfluor or NFSI) accompanied by trapping of beta-fluoroiminium cationic intermediate with cyanide nucleophile.
