The role of the lithospheric stiffness and plate ageing on trench kinematics: insights from numerical models
TL;DR: In this article, the dominant dynamic controls on trench migration were investigated by means of two-and three-dimensional numerical modeling of subduction. But the authors did not consider the role of the plate stiffness and lithospheric ageing on the trench migration.
Journal ArticleDOI
GRS vs. OMS Calibration in LISA Pathfinder Data Analysis
N. Meshksar,Luigi Ferraioli,Davor Mance,Jan ten Pierick,Jan ten Pierick,Peter Zweifel,Domenico Giardini +6 more
TL;DR: On board LISA Pathfinder spacecraft the test mass displacement along the main measurement axis is sensed in two different ways: optically and electrostatically as discussed by the authors, and the trend sensitivity of the relative calibration has been computed for different physical parameters, such as temperature, magnetic field, test mass bias voltage and current.

Crustal structure observed by the InSight mission to Mars
Nicholas Schmerr,Simon Stähler,Mark P. Panning,Do-Yeon Kim,Ana-Catalina Plesa,Domenico Giardini,Savas Ceylan,William B. Banerdt,Géraldine Zenhäusern,A. Cecilia Duran +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a 3D wavefield simulation of the higher-orbit surface waves on Mars is presented, showing that the depth sensitivity expands down to the uppermost mantle close to 90 km.
ReportDOI
Synthèse conjointe «Géothermie» du PNR «Energie»
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a géothermie de faible profondeur avec des pompes à chaleur correspond to l'état actuel de la technique and is déjà largement répandue en Suisse.
Book ChapterDOI
Integrating the European Observational Seismology Infrastructure: NERIES Developments
TL;DR: In this article, the authors have made a significant step towards integrating this diverse network into a homogeneous real-time network, data archival and data access facility, thus providing a powerful research tool for future earth science research and hazard assessment.
