One-dimensional physical reference models for the upper mantle and transition zone: Combining seismic and mineral physics constraints
TL;DR: In this article, the authors test the compatibility of the simplest hypothesis of a mantle convecting as a whole, with a constant pyrolitic composition with phase transitions directly against the kind of seismic data that went into global seismic reference models, focusing on upper mantle structure down to 800 km depth.

Mizutani,Juergen Oberst +28 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a network of very broad band seismometers was deployed on Mars for the first time in the framework of the 2007 CNES-NASA joint mission, where the Netlanders landers were used to record the full range of seismic and gravity signals.

TL;DR: The Earthquake Model of Middle East (EMME) project was carried out between 2010 and 2014 to provide a harmonized seismic hazard assessment without country border limitations as mentioned in this paper, which covers eleven countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria and Turkey.

TL;DR: The current status of the LISA Pathfinder mission is described, a precursor mission aimed at demonstrating key technologies for future space-based gravitational wave detectors, like LISA, and performance measurements and analysis of these flight components lead to an expected performance of theLISA Pathfinder which is a significant improvement over the mission requirements.
