Experimental feasibility of dual-energy computed tomography based on the Thomson scattering X-ray source.
TL;DR: The first feasibility study on dual-energy computed tomography (CT) based on the Thomson scattering X-ray source is reported, and the effective atomic number and electron-density distribution of a standard phantom consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene, water and aluminium is derived.

Ccl3 enhances docetaxel chemosensitivity in breast cancer by triggering proinflammatory macrophage polarization
Dandan Sheng,Wei-Ping Ma,Rui Zhang,Lei Zhou,Qiaodan Deng,Juchuanli Tu,Weilong Chen,Fuchuang Zhang,Nailong Gao,Mengxue Dong,Dong Wang,Fengkai Li,Yin Liu,Xueyan He,Sheng-Zhong Duan,Lixing Zhang,Tong-Xin Liu,Suling Liu +17 more
TL;DR: It is revealed that Ccl3 induced by DTX in macrophages and cancer cells was indispensable for the chemotherapeutic efficacy of DTX and may provide a promising therapeutic rationale for increasing DTX chemosensitivity in breast cancer.

How the Hawking radiation affect quantum Fisher information of Dirac particles in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole
TL;DR: In this work, the effect of Hawking radiation on the quantum Fisher information (QFI) of Dirac particles is investigated in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole and it turns out that the function F_\phi $$Fϕ on $$\theta =\pi \big /4$$θ=π/4 symmetry was broken by the influence of the Hawking radiation.
