Journal ArticleDOI

The energy value and economic efficiency of solid biofuels produced from digestate and sawdust

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed an economic and energy analysis of briquettes and pellets production and showed that the individual production of solid biofuels from digestate is more profitable than using sawdust as a substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improving the energy efficiency of lighting through the use of KNX system

TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison of the conventional and controlled illumination systems in an intelligent building is presented, where it is shown that applying conventional illumination based on incandescent and halogen light sources reduces the energy efficiency of the illuminations inside buildings below the permissible value, which is listed in the standards DIN 18599 and PN EN 15193.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of the light and energy performance inside a lobby with an illumination made in LED technology

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the results of energy efficiency tests conducted in the lobby of the JET OFFICE building located in Poznan on the basis of the PN-EN 15193 standard.
Journal ArticleDOI

The immunity of the KNX model to continuous electromagnetic disturbances

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the test results of the electromagnetic immunity of an intelligent fixed installation model to electromagnetic continuous disturbances in relation to the standards and regulations in force, based on intelligent building automatic devices by Hager.
Journal ArticleDOI

Specificity of energetic functioning of economic activity objects

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of energy quality and power balances in different, due to the specificity of functioning (used electrical equipment), business facilities was carried out for supply networks: in the bank building, in the IT laboratory and in the office and warehouse facility.
