Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of the Subsurface Cracks in a Stainless Steel Plate Using Pulsed Eddy Current
TL;DR: In this article, a double-dimensional differential probe was used to detect cracks in a stainless steel structure using the peak amplitude of the detected pulse and the Fourier transform was applied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tunable spin injection and detection across a van der Waals interface
Keun Hong Min,Duk Hyun Lee,Sangkook Choi,In Ho Lee,Junho Seo,Dong-Wook Kim,Kyung-Tae Ko,Kenji Watanabe,Takashi Taniguchi,Dong Han Ha,Changyoung Kim,Ji Hoon Shim,Jonghwa Eom,Jun Sung Kim,Suyong Jung +14 more
Journal ArticleDOI
hBN Encapsulation Effects on the Phonon Modes of MoS2 with a Thickness of 1 to 10 Layers
Duk Hyun Lee,Nam Kim,Suyong Jung,Jaesung Park,Bumseop Kim,Myung-Ho Bae,Yong Ju Yun,Sam Nyung Yi,Dong Han Ha +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined the effect of encapsulation with hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) and found that the width of the A1g peak of few-layer MoS2 is significantly reduced when entirely encapsulated with hBN.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microscopic Quantum Transport Processes of Out‐of‐Plane Charge Flow in 2D Semiconductors Analyzed by a Fowler–Nordheim Tunneling Probe
Dong Hoon Shin,Duk Hyun Lee,Sang Jun Choi,Seonyeong Kim,Hakseong Kim,Kenji Watanabe,Takashi Taniguchi,Eleanor E. B. Campbell,Sang Wook Lee,Suyong Jung +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the out-of-plane charge transport behavior in 2D vdW semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides (SCTMD) was investigated and it was shown that either electron or hole carrier Fowler-Nordheim tunneling becomes the dominant quantum transport process in ultrathin SCTMDs, down to monolayers.
