I. M. Itkis,E. M. Kozulin,M. G. Itkis,G. N. Knyazheva,A. A. Bogachev,E. V. Chernysheva,L. Krupa,Yu. Ts. Oganessian,Valery Zagrebaev,A. Ya. Rusanov,F. Goennenwein,O. Dorvaux,Louise Stuttge,Francis Hanappe,Emanuele Vardaci,E. de Goes Brennand +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, mass and energy distributions of binary reaction products obtained in the reactions {sup 22}Ne+{sup 249}Cf,{sup 26}Mg+ {sup 248}Cm, {sup 36}S+U, leading to the formation of a similar compound nucleus, the main part of the symmetric fragments arises from the quasifission process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fusion-fission and quasifission of superheavy systems with Z = 110 – 116 formed in Ca 48 -induced reactions
E. M. Kozulin,G. N. Knyazheva,I. M. Itkis,M. G. Itkis,A. A. Bogachev,E. V. Chernysheva,L. Krupa,Francis Hanappe,O. Dorvaux,Louise Stuttge,Wladyslaw Henryk Trzaska,Christian Schmitt,G. G. Chubarian +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the quasifission process of superheavy composite systems with Z =110\text{\ensuremath{-}}116$ and compared with properties of fusion-fission and quasification of lighter composite systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
MASHA separator on the heavy ion beam for determining masses and nuclear physical properties of isotopes of heavy and superheavy elements

TL;DR: The MASHA mass spectrometer designed for identifying superheavy elements by their masses is described in this paper, where the separation efficiency has been measured in the autonomous mode using four calibrated leakages of noble gases.

TL;DR: In this article, a simulation toolkit based on GEANT4 and MENATE_R was developed to investigate the influence of experimental conditions on the observed properties of neutrons emitted.

Neutron anisotropic evaporation and scission emission in fission
Louise Stuttge,A. Chietera,Friedrich Gönnenwein,Yu. N. Kopatch,Manfred Mutterer,A. M. Gagarski,I. S. Guseva,E. V. Chernysheva,Franz-Josef Hambsch,Francis Hanappe,Zh. V. Mezentseva,Sergei Telezhnikov +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the CORA experiment associating the CODIS twin ionisation chamber and the neutron multi-detector DEMON aimed to solve an long-standing problem in fission: the possible emission of scission neutrons and/or the presence of a dynamical anisotropy in the neutron evaporation by the moving fission fragments.
