Journal ArticleDOI

Beta-decay studies of far from stability nuclei near N = 28

TL;DR: In this paper, the decay properties of the exotic S and Cl isotopes may be the clue for the astrophysical understanding of the unusual 48 Ca 46 Ca abundance ratio measured in the solar system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of the 208 Pb( 18 O, f) fission reaction: Mass-energy distributions of fission fragments and their correlation with the gamma-ray multiplicity

TL;DR: In this article, the mass energy distribution of fragments originating from the fission of the compound nucleus 226Th and their correlations with the multiplicity of gamma rays emitted from these fragments are measured and analyzed in 18O + 208Pb interaction induced by projectile oxygen ions of energy in the range E = 78-198.5 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

A facility for the study of neutron-rich light nuclei

TL;DR: In this article, an experimental set-up designed for the investigation of light nuclei close to the neutron dripline is described, built on the basis of a broad range magnetic spectrograph having a focal plane detector consisting of a four-section ionization chamber and two position-sensitive proportional counters.
