TL;DR: In this paper, a fast, selective conversion of internal olefins to linear OEesters is catalysed by Pd(II) complexes of chelating π(phospha-adamantyl)diphosphines and the catalysis is acutely sensitive to the ligand backbone and even to the diastereomer used.
