Probing bosonic stars with atomic clocks

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the possibility of probing asymmetric bosonic dark matter stars by the use of atomic clocks and found that the interiors of asymmetric dark stars that are in a Bose-Einstein condensate state can change the values of physical constants that control the timing of atomic clock devices.

Gravitational Waves in Einstein-{\AE}ther Theory and Generalized T$e$V$e$S Theory after GW170817

TL;DR: In this paper, the polarization contents of both the Generalized T$e$V$e $e$S theory and the generalized T-V-S theory are discussed, as both theories have normalized timelike vector fields.

Anomalous decay rate of quasinormal modes in Schwarzschild-dS and Schwarzschild-AdS black holes

TL;DR: In this paper, an anomalous decay rate of the quasinormal modes of a massive scalar field in Schwarzschild black holes backgrounds was reported in which the longest-lived modes are the ones with higher angular number.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tachyon field quantization and Hawking radiation.

TL;DR: The tachyon field is quantized in a static two dimensional dilaton gravity black hole background, and the Hawking radiation rate is calculated, finding that the thermal radiation flux, due to the tach Lyon field, is larger than the conformal matter one.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exact black hole solutions with a conformally coupled scalar field and dynamic Ricci curvature in f(R) gravity theories

TL;DR: In this article, exact black hole solutions in asymptotically flat or (A)dS four-dimensional spacetime with a conformally coupled self-interacting scalar field in f(R) gravity were derived.
