Human recombinant factor VII for emergency reversal of coagulopathy in neurosurgical patients: a retrospective comparative study.
Ben Roitberg,Obinna Emechebe-Kennedy,Sepideh Amin-Hanjani,Jeffrey J. Mucksavage,Eljim P. Tesoro +4 more
TL;DR: Factor VII is safe and highly effective when emergency reversal of coagulopathy is desired and may improve the functional outcome and it is speculated that the use of factor VII as first choice may result in decreased use of FFP and thus increase patient safety.

Journal ArticleDOI
Use of Newer Anticonvulsants for the Treatment of Status Epilepticus
TL;DR: Evaluating the efficacy and safety of AEDs released to the market after 2000 for SE, refractory status epilepticus (RSE), and super‐refractoryStatus epileptus (SRSE) found evidence is currently insufficient to support the use of these agents in this setting.
