Uniting Resilience Research and Practice With an Inequalities Approach

TL;DR: The concept of resilience has evolved, from an individual-level characteristic to a wider ecological notion that takes into account broader person-environment interactions, generating an increased resilience as discussed by the authors. But resilience has not yet been applied to the real world.
Journal ArticleDOI

Collaborative community research dissemination and networking: Experiences and challenges

TL;DR: The authors report on the experiences of a community-university research partnership with young people's arts organisations that disseminated their collaborative work on resilience at a Research Showcase event held in Cardiff in June 2014.

Multi-site validation of an amplicon-based sequencing approach for human monkeypox virus

TL;DR: It is shown that the human monkeypox virus primer scheme can be used with currently implemented amplicon-based SARS-CoV-2 sequencing workflows, with minimal change to the protocol and it increases the number of samples where near-complete genomes can be generated and it provides a cost-effective and widely applicable alternative to metagenomics.

Development of an amplicon-based sequencing approach in response to the global emergence of human monkeypox virus

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used PrimalScheme to develop a primer scheme for human monkeypox virus that can be used with many sequencing and bioinformatics pipelines implemented in public health laboratories during the COVID-19 pandemic.
