TL;DR: In this paper, an angle-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was employed for the in situ study of the interactions between thermally evaporated copper atoms and conjugated electroluminescent polymer, such as poly(p-phenylene vinylene) and its soluble derivative, poly[2-methoxy-5-(2′-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4]-poly(1-4-phenylon vinylene] (MEH-PPV).

Surface characterization of colloidal polypyrrole particles synthesized with reactive steric stabilizers using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the surface properties of polypyrrole colloids were characterized using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and the presence of grafted copolymer stabilizers at the surface of the colloid particles was detected consistent with the accepted steric stabilization mechanism.
