Hairy fluorescent nanoparticles from one‐pot click chemistry and atom transfer radical emulsion polymerization
TL;DR: In this article, a mixture of styrene, divinylbenzene, 4-vinylbenzylazide and 7-propinyloxycoumarin (Cr) copolymers with diameters in the range 70-220 nm were obtained from simultaneous copper-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) and atom transfer radical emulsion polymerization (ATREP).
Book ChapterDOI
Applications and challenges of smart antibacterial coatings
TL;DR: The definition of smart coatings is broad, smart antibacterial coatings in this chapter are considered as those capable of exhibiting or altering their antibacterial activity in response to a stimulus.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adhesion enhancement of evaporated copper on HDPE surface modified by plasma polymerization of glycidyl methacrylate
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that the epoxide functional groups on the GMA-HDPE surfaces had been preserved to various extents, depending on the RF power used during plasma polymerization.
Journal ArticleDOI
pH-Sensitive Dextran-Based Micelles from Copper-Free Click Reaction for Antitumor Drug Delivery.
Peng Liu,Ping Huang,En-Tang Kang +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, a pH-sensitive dextran-based micelle system, self-assembled from amphiphilic dextrans-graft-poly(2-(diisopropylamino)ethyl methacrylate-co-2-(2',3',5'-triiodobenzoyl) methyl methacyl) was reported for effective chemotherapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and magnetic properties of the Ho(BA)2AA complex monomer and its copolymer with MMA
TL;DR: In this paper, a ternary complex was synthesized by the reaction of holmium isopropoxide with benzoylacetone (BA) and acrylic acid (AA) and its copolymer with methyl methacrylate (MMA) was prepared through free radical initiation polymerization.
