Journal ArticleDOI

Conductivity and structure of sub-micrometric SrTiO3-YSZ composites

TL;DR: In this article, the structure development and morphology of the precursors were studied by XRD and SEM, and the composites with sub-micrometric grain sizes can be prepared successfully without reaction between the components, although a change in the cell parameter of the SrTiO 3 is attributed to the presence of Na.
Journal ArticleDOI

High Channel Density Ceramic Microchannel Reactor for Syngas Production

TL;DR: In this paper, an alumina membrane containing straight, highly packed (461,289 cpsi), parallel channels of a few micrometers (21 µm) in diameter was used as a microreformer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure and conductivity in CeNb3O9-δ

TL;DR: In this article, a study of the structure and electrical conductivity of Mg-doped and nominally pure CeNb3O9-δ was undertaken, which exhibits an orthorhombic crystal structure as determined by Rietveld refinement.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Method for the Deposition of Nickel Oxide in Porous Scaffolds for Electrodes in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and Electrolyzers

TL;DR: A simple chemical bath deposition is used to coat a complex porous ceramic scaffold with a conformal Ni layer, and the resulting composite is used as a solid oxide fuel cell electrode, and its electrochemical response is measured in humidified hydrogen.
