Electroanatomic Characterization of Post-Infarct Scars Comparison With 3-Dimensional Myocardial Scar Reconstruction Based on Magnetic Resonance Imaging
A. Codreanu,Freddy Odille,Etienne Aliot,Pierre-Yves Marie,I. Magnin-Poull,Marius Andronache,Damien Mandry,Wassila Djaballah,Denis Régent,Jacques Felblinger,Christian de Chillou +10 more
TL;DR: Sinus-rhythm EAM helps identify the limits of post-infarct scars, however, the accuracy of EAM for precise scar delineation is limited and this limit might be circumvented using anatomical information provided by 3D MRI data.
Journal ArticleDOI
International consensus on nomenclature and classification of atrial fibrillation; a collaborative project of the Working Group on Arrhythmias and the Working Group on Cardiac Pacing of the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.
Samuel Levy,Alan John Camm,Sanjeev Saksena,Etienne Aliot,G. Breithardt,Harry J.G.M. Crijns,W. Davies,N. Kay,Eric N. Prystowsky,Richard Sutton,Albert L. Waldo,D. G. Wyse +11 more
TL;DR: This document reports the conclusions reached by this Study Group during a meeting held on June, 13, 2000, and completed by the members soon thereafter, in an attempt to achieve a consensus on the terminology and classification of AF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isthmus Characteristics of Reentrant Ventricular Tachycardia After Myocardial Infarction
Christian de Chillou,Dominique Lacroix,Didier Klug,I. Magnin-Poull,Christelle Marquié,Marc Messier,Marius Andronache,Claude Kouakam,Nicolas Sadoul,Jian Chen,Etienne Aliot,Salem Kacet +11 more
TL;DR: This work has demonstrated macroreentrant circuits with 1 loop or 2 loops rotating around a protected isthmus bounded by 2 approximately parallel conduction barriers that consisted of a line of double potentials, a scar area, or the mitral annulus in postinfarct ventricular tachycardia.
Journal ArticleDOI
ACC/AHA/ESC guidelines for the management of patients with supraventricular arrhythmias - Executive summary: A Report of the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines and the European Society of Cardiology Committee for Practice Guidelines (Writing Committee to Develop Guidelines for the Management of Patients With Supraventricular Arrhythmias)

TL;DR: The ACC/AHA/ESC guidelines for the management of patients with supraventricular arrhythmias—executive summary: a report of the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines, and the European Society of Cardiologist Committee for Practice Guidelines (Writing Committee to Develop Guidelines for the Management of Patients With Supraventricular Arrhythmias).
Journal ArticleDOI
Update of the guidelines on sudden cardiac death of the European Society of Cardiology.
Silvia G. Priori,Etienne Aliot,Carina Blomström-Lundqvist,Leo Bossaert,Günter Breithardt,Pedro Brugada,John Camm,Riccardo Cappato,Stuart M. Cobbe,Carlo Di Mario,Barry J. Maron,William J. McKenna,Anders K Pedersen,Ursula Ravens,Peter J. Schwartz,M. Trusz-Gluza,Panos E. Vardas,Hein J.J. Wellens,Douglas P. Zipes +18 more
TL;DR: The evidence that has led to the update of two sections of primary prevention of SCD in post-myocardial infarction (MI) and heart failure is reviewed, and the revision of the section of primary Prevention ofSCD inPost-MI and heart Failure has been considered appropriate based on the release of the results of the Multicenter Automatic Defibrillator Implantation Trial II (MADIT II) trial.
