Exact number-conserving phase-space dynamics of the M -site Bose-Hubbard model

TL;DR: In this paper, the dynamics of Bose-Hubbard systems are described in quantum phase space constructed in terms of generalized SU(M) coherent states, and an explicit evolution equation for the generalized Husimi $(Q)$ and Glauber-Sudarshan $(P)$ distributions are derived.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonlinear Landau–Zener tunneling in quantum phase space

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed analysis of the Landau-Zener problem for an interacting Bose-Einstein condensate in a time-varying double-well trap is presented, focusing on the relation between the full many-particle problem and the mean-field approximation.

Nonlinear Landau-Zener tunneling in quantum phase space

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed analysis of the Landau-Zener problem for an interacting Bose-Einstein condensate in a time-varying double-well trap is presented, especially focussing on the relation between the full many-particle problem and the mean field approximation.

Classical and quantum features of the superfluid to Mott insulator transition

TL;DR: In this paper, the correspondence of many-particle and mean-field dynamics for a Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical lattice is analyzed, and it is shown that the correspondence can be easily extended to higher particle numbers and multidimensional lattices.
