Production of Hydrogen from Ethanol: Review of Reaction Mechanism and Catalyst Deactivation
TL;DR: Mechanism and Catalyst Deactivation Lisiane V. Mattos,† Gary Jacobs,‡ Burtron H. Davis,† and Fab́io B. Noronha.
Journal ArticleDOI
CO2 Reforming of CH4 over Pt/ZrO2 Catalysts Promoted with La and Ce Oxides
TL;DR: In this paper, the CO2 reforming of CH4 was studied over cerium and lanthanum-promoted Pt/ZrO2 catalysts at 1073 K and a CH4 : CO2 ratio of 2 : 1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective conversion of m-cresol to toluene over bimetallic Ni–Fe catalysts
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a deoxygenation path that starts with the tautomerization of m-cresol to an unstable ketone intermediate (3-methyl-3,5-cyclohexadienone).
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation between catalytic activity and support reducibility in the CO2 reforming of methane over Pt/CexZr1−xO2 catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the reducibility of the support and the catalytic activity of supported Pt on a series of catalysts supported on ceria-zirconia mixed oxides were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Steam reforming, partial oxidation, and oxidative steam reforming of ethanol over Pt/CeZrO2 catalyst
Sania M. de Lima,Ivna O. da Cruz,Gary Jacobs,Burtron H. Davis,Lisiane V. Mattos,Fabio B. Noronha +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of a Pt/CeZrO 2 catalyst was tested for ethanol decomposition, steam reforming, partial oxidation, and oxidative steam reforming and it was shown that increasing the reaction temperature greatly improved the stability of the catalyst.
