TL;DR: It is observed that two of the top-ranked teams outperformed two human experts in the glaucoma classification task, and the segmentation results were in general consistent with the ground truth annotations, with complementary outcomes that can be further exploited by ensembling the results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficacy and safety of different regimens for primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension: a systematic review and network meta-analysis.
Fei Li,Wenbin Huang,Xiulan Zhang +2 more
TL;DR: To assess the efficacy and safety of different regimens, including monotherapy and double therapy, for primary open‐angle glaucoma (POAG) or ocular hypertension, a large number of patients are enrolled for either monotherapy or double therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Why does acute primary angle closure happen? Potential risk factors for acute primary angle closure.
TL;DR: The potential roles of various factors in the pathogenesis of acute primary angle closure, including narrow anterior chamber angle, advanced age, female gender, and Asian ethnic background are summarized.

TL;DR: The 2019 Angle closure Glaucoma Evaluation Challenge (AGE) as discussed by the authors was held in conjunction with MICCAI 2019, and the AGE challenge consisted of two tasks: scleral spur localization and angle closure classification.
Journal ArticleDOI
Joint retina segmentation and classification for early glaucoma diagnosis
TL;DR: Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed joint segmentation and classification deep model achieves superior segmentation performance than other state-of-the-art methods both in the collected dataset and in public dataset with severe retina pathology.
