Journal ArticleDOI
Monolithic perovskite/silicon-heterojunction tandem solar cells processed at low temperature
Steve Albrecht,Michael Saliba,Juan Pablo Correa Baena,Felix Lang,Lukas Kegelmann,Mathias Mews,Ludmilla Steier,Antonio Abate,Jörg Rappich,Lars Korte,Rutger Schlatmann,Mohammad Khaja Nazeeruddin,Anders Hagfeldt,Michael Grätzel,Bernd Rech +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an 18% efficient monolithic silicon/perovskite tandem solar cells were constructed by combining optical optimization of the device architecture including light trapping approaches. But the design of the tandem cell is limited by the photocurrent generated in the silicon bottom cell that is reduced due to reflectance losses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiation Hardness and Self-Healing of Perovskite Solar Cells
Felix Lang,Norbert H. Nickel,Jürgen Bundesmann,Sophie Seidel,Andrea Denker,Steve Albrecht,Viktor V. Brus,Jörg Rappich,Bernd Rech,Giovanni Landi,Heinrich Christoph Neitzert +10 more
TL;DR: These organic-inorganic perovskites exhibit radiation hardness and withstand proton doses that exceed the damage threshold of crystalline silicon by almost 3 orders of magnitude.
Journal ArticleDOI
Perovskite Solar Cells with Large-Area CVD-Graphene for Tandem Solar Cells
Felix Lang,Marc A. Gluba,Steve Albrecht,Jörg Rappich,Lars Korte,Bernd Rech,Norbert H. Nickel +6 more
TL;DR: Large-area graphene grown by chemical vapor deposition as a highly transparent electrode in perovskite solar cells is implemented, leading to identical charge collection efficiencies and electrical performance of solar cells with a graphene-based contact reached those ofSolar cells with standard gold contacts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of Radiation on the Properties and the Stability of Hybrid Perovskites.
Felix Lang,Oleksandra Shargaieva,Viktor V. Brus,Heinz C. Neitzert,Jörg Rappich,Norbert H. Nickel +5 more
TL;DR: The proposed degradation mechanisms reported in the literature are thoroughly reviewed and the microscopic mechanisms and their implications for solar cells are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
21.6%-Efficient Monolithic Perovskite/Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Tandem Solar Cells with Thin Conformal Hole Transport Layers for Integration on Rough Bottom Cell Surfaces
Marko Jošt,Tobias Bertram,Dibyashree Koushik,José A. Márquez,Marcel A. Verheijen,Marc Daniel Heinemann,Eike Köhnen,Amran Al-Ashouri,Steffen Braunger,Felix Lang,Bernd Rech,Thomas Unold,Mariadriana Creatore,Iver Lauermann,Christian A. Kaufmann,Rutger Schlatmann,Steve Albrecht +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a monolithic perovskite/CIGSe tandem solar cell was proposed to increase the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of conventional single-junction photovoltaic devices.
