Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative genomics provide insights into evolution of trichoderma nutrition style.
Bin-Bin Xie,Qi-Long Qin,Mei Shi,Lei-Lei Chen,Yan-Li Shu,Yan Luo,Xiao-Wei Wang,Jin-Cheng Rong,Zhi-Ting Gong,Dan Li,Cai-Yun Sun,Guiming Liu,Xiao-Wei Dong,Xiuhua Pang,Feng Huang,Wei‐Feng Liu,Xiu-Lan Chen,Bai-Cheng Zhou,Yu-Zhong Zhang,Xiao-Yan Song +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report the deep sequencing and analysis of the genome of Trichoderma longibrachiatum, an efficient cellulase producer, and provide insights into the physiology and evolution of the nutrition strategy of T. reesei, including glycoside hydrolases and nonribosomal peptide synthetase-polyketide synthase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deep RNA sequencing reveals a high frequency of alternative splicing events in the fungus Trichoderma longibrachiatum
Bin-Bin Xie,Dan Li,Wei-Ling Shi,Qi-Long Qin,Xiao-Wei Wang,Jin-Cheng Rong,Cai-Yun Sun,Feng Huang,Xi-Ying Zhang,Xiao-Wei Dong,Xiu-Lan Chen,Bai-Cheng Zhou,Yu-Zhong Zhang,Xiao-Yan Song +13 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive analysis of the alternative splicing landscape in the filamentous fungus T. longibrachiatum was performed in this article, which revealed an unexpectedly high ratio of alternative splice events and provided new insights into transcriptome diversity in fungi.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of Fermentation Conditions for the Production of the M23 Protease Pseudoalterin by Deep-Sea Pseudoalteromonas sp. CF6-2 with Artery Powder as an Inducer
Hui-Lin Zhao,Jie Yang,Xiu-Lan Chen,Hai-Nan Su,Xi-Ying Zhang,Feng Huang,Bai-Cheng Zhou,Bin-Bin Xie +7 more
TL;DR: The fermentation conditions of strain CF6-2 for pseudoalterin production were optimized using single factor experiments and response surface methodology to improve the enzyme yield and lay a good foundation for developing the biotechnological potential of Pseudoalterin.
Journal ArticleDOI
Supramolecular architecture of photosynthetic membrane in red algae in response to nitrogen starvation.
Long-Sheng Zhao,Hai-Nan Su,Kang Li,Bin-Bin Xie,Lu-Ning Liu,Xi-Ying Zhang,Xiu-Lan Chen,Feng Huang,Bai-Cheng Zhou,Yu-Zhong Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: This work reports the first direct observation on alterations in the supramolecular architecture of thylakoid membranes from a photosynthetic organism in response to nitrogen stress.
