Journal Article

Osmoderma eremita (Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae, Cetoniinae) in Europe

TL;DR: The occurrence of O. eremita seems to have decreased in all European countries and is useful as an indicator and umbrella species for the preservation of the entire invertebrate community associated with hollow trees in Europe.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mitochondrial and microsatellite DNA markers reveal a Balkan origin for the highly invasive horse‐chestnut leaf miner Cameraria ohridella (Lepidoptera, Gracillariidae)

TL;DR: Findings suggest that European populations of C. ohridella may indeed derive from the southern Balkans, and high haplotype diversity and low measures of nucleotide diversities including a significantly negative Tajima’s D indicate that C. Ohridella has experienced rapid population expansion during its dispersal across Europe.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lack of a hypotensive effect with rapid administration of a new aqueous formulation of intravenous amiodarone.

TL;DR: Amio-Aqueous is at least as safe as lidocaine in terms of causing hypotension when administered rapidly, a significant advantage over the standard amiodarone formulation, because Cordarone cannot be administered by rapid bolus owing to excipient-related hypotension.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chalara fraxinea associated with dieback of narrow‐leafed ash (Fraxinus angustifolia)

TL;DR: Chalara fraxinea associated with dieback of narrow-leafed ash (Fraxinus angustifolia) T. Kirisits*, M. Matlakova, S. Mottinger-Kroupa, E. Halmschlager and F. Halmischlager .
