Anticoagulant activity, paw edema and pleurisy induced carrageenan: Action of major types of commercial carrageenans

TL;DR: A comparative study of commercials carrageenans in the pro-inflammatory action by ear edema and pleurisy and to analyze their anticoagulant activity is conducted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of equine chorionic gonadotropin and type of ovulatory stimulus in a timed-AI protocol on reproductive responses in dairy cows.

TL;DR: ECP and GnRH yielded comparable P/AI in Holstein cows receiving timed artificial insemination, however, eCG treatment at CIDR removal increased pregnancy rate in cows induced to ovulate with GnRH and in cows with lower BCS.
Journal ArticleDOI

The electrical double layer at the [BMIM][PF6] ionic liquid/electrode interface – Effect of temperature on the differential capacitance

TL;DR: In this paper, the differential capacitance at the interfaces between 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate, [BMIM][PF6] ionic liquid and three different electrode materials (Hg, Pt, and glassy carbon (GC)) as a function of the applied potential was obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long time effect on the stability of silver nanoparticles in aqueous medium: Effect of the synthesis and storage conditions

TL;DR: In this article, the stability of the Ag NPs was studied for a period of 1 year and different experimental conditions were used in order to induce changes in the size distribution of the gold nanoparticles and to study the effect of those experimental conditions on the long range stability.
