Journal ArticleDOI
A engenharia de tecido pulpar é clinicamente viável? Em que ponto deste caminho estamos?
Journal ArticleDOI
Life course epidemiology and its implication for oral health.
TL;DR: Oral health is an excellent area to study life course deter-minants of the diseases since the most impacting oral diseases and disor-ders are cumulative and chronic, present relatively high prevalence and are easy to identify.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shrinkage stress of three composites under different polymerization methods
Cesar Henrique Zanchi,Rodrigo Varella de Carvalho,Sinval Adalberto Rodrigues Junior,Flávio Fernando Demarco,Luiz Henrique Burnett Júnior +4 more
TL;DR: LED polymerization reduced the initial shrinkage stress of the three materials and was influenced by the presence of co-initiators in the composites.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of additional acid etching on bond strength and structural reliability of adhesive systems applied to caries-affected dentin .
Cesar Henrique Zanchia,Otávio Pereira D'Avila,Sinval Alberto Rodrigues-Junior,Luiz Henriques Burnett,Flávio Fernando Demarco,Márcia Bueno Pinto +5 more
TL;DR: The additional etching increases the microtensile bond strength to CAD, but not enough to reach the μTBS values obtained in SD, and the structural reliability of the bond to CAD is not affected by theAdditional etching.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel experimental cements for use on the dentin-pulp complex
Raquel Venâncio Fernandes Dantas,Marcus Cristian Muniz Conde,Hugo Ramalho Sarmento,Cesar Henrique Zanchi,Sandra Beatriz Chaves Tarquinio,Fabrício Aulo Ogliari,Flávio Fernando Demarco +6 more
TL;DR: The photo-cured experimental resin cement showed similar or superior performance compared with the current commercial or other tested experimental materials, including pH, diametral tensile strength (DTS) and cytotoxicity comparing them with mineral trioxide aggregate and a glass ionomer cement developed at the laboratory.
