The Way of Water: ALMA Resolves H2O Emission Lines in a Strongly Lensed Dusty Star-forming Galaxy at z ∼ 3.1
Francesca Perrotta,Marika Giulietti,Marcella Massardi,G. Gandolfi,Tommaso Ronconi,M. V. Zanchettin,M. Behiri,Martina Torsello,Francesco Gabrielli,Lumen Boco,Vincenzo Galluzzi,Andrea Lapi +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) high-resolution (≲0.3″) observations of water emission lines p-H2O(202 − 111), o-H 2O(321 − 312), p-HO(422 − 413) in the strongly lensed galaxy HATLASJ113526.2-01460 at redshift z ∼3.1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Predictions of radio counts of star forming galaxies for SKA precursors
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extended the semi-analitycal galaxy formation models, that fitted the far- infrared (FIR) to millimeter wave luminosity functions and ultraviolet (UV) luminosity function up to high redshifts, in order to take into account additional UV data and Hα (Hα luminosity) functions, and obtained predictions for the counts of star-forming galaxies down to subnJy fluxes.

Formation of Spheroidal Galaxies: The Sub-MM View
G. de Zotti,Gian Luigi Granato,Carlo Baccigalupi,Manuela Magliocchetti,Paola Mazzei,Francesca Perrotta,Luigi Danese +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the impact of sub-mm surveys on the evolution of spheroidal galaxies and quasars has been discussed, bringing into play also the inter-relationships between formation and early evolution of galaxies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evolution of dark-matter haloes in a variety of dark-energy cosmologies
Matthias Bartelmann,Klaus Dolag,Francesca Perrotta,Carlo Baccigalupi,Lauro Moscardini,Massimo Meneghetti,Giuseppe Tormen +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple scaling relation for halo concentrations in dark-energy cosmologies is proposed, showing that core halo densities are imprinted early during their formation by the mean cosmological density.
