Interaction of the Fungal Metabolite Harzianic Acid with Rare-Earth Cations (La3+, Nd3+, Sm3+, Gd3+)

TL;DR: In this paper , coordination of harzianic acid (H2L), a Trichoderma secondary metabolite, of a selection of tripositive rare-earth cations Ln3+ (LnL+ = La3+, Nd3+, Sm3+, and Gd3+) was investigated at 25 °C, and in a CH3OH/0.1 M NaClO4 (50/50 w/w) solvent, using mass spectrometry, circular dichroism, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and pH measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of adenosylhomocysteine and other analog thioethers on a prokaryotic tRNA (guanine-7)-methyltransferase

TL;DR: S -Adenosylhomocysteine, a potent inhibitor of methyltransferases, and several thioethers structurally related to SAH, have been tested as potential inhibitors of tRNA (guanine-7)-methyltransferase from Salmonella typhimurium.

Comparative analysis of the hydrodynamic performance of untwisted and twisted rudders using a hybrid RANSE/BEM model

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed a computational study on the hydrodynamic perfor- mance of twisted and untwisted rudders for a single screw vessel using a hybrid RANSE/BEM model.

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of the Unsteady Flow Around a Propeller

TL;DR: In this article, the analysis of the flow around the propeller of a twin screw vessel is performed both experimentally by Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) measurements and numerically by a potential flow solver.
Book ChapterDOI

Chapter 7 Modified Nucleosides in Human Blood Serum as Biochemical Signals for Neoplasia

TL;DR: Schlimme et al. as discussed by the authors described a method based on an on-line multi-column high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for selective clean-up and analysis of major and minor nibonucleosides in body fluids, including serum.
