Journal ArticleDOI
Rational design and convenient synthesis of a novel family of ruthenium complexes with O,N-bidentate ligands
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-step procedure for the synthesis of homogeneous and immobilized Ru-complexes containing Schiff bases as O,N-bidentate ligands is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Core-shell metal-organic frameworks and metal functionalization to access highest efficiency in catalytic carboxylation
Yanyan Gong,Ye Yuan,Cheng Chen,Pan Zhang,Jichao Wang,Serge Zhuiykov,Somboon Chaemchuen,Somboon Chaemchuen,Francis Verpoort +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a core-shell metal-organic frameworks (MOF@MOF) based on the Zr-MOFs assembly from core-structure UiO-66 combined with shell-structured UiOs67-BPY were explored.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly active bidentate N-heterocyclic carbene/ruthenium complexes performing dehydrogenative coupling of alcohols and hydroxides in open air.
Zhi-Qin Wang,Xiaosheng Tang,Zhaoqi Yang,Baoyi Yu,Hua-Jing Wang,Wei Sang,Ye Yuan,Cheng Chen,Francis Verpoort,Francis Verpoort,Francis Verpoort +10 more
TL;DR: Eight bidentate NHC/Ru complexes, namely [Ru]-1-[Ru]-8, were designed and prepared and displayed extraordinary performance even in open air for the dehydrogenative coupling of alcohols and hydroxides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure and properties of Ni(II)-4f complexes based on 1H-benzimidazole-5,6-dicarboxylic acid.
Yaguang Sun,Gang Xiong,Mei-Yan Guo,Fu Ding,Shu-Ju Wang,Philippe Smet,Dirk Poelman,En-Jun Gao,Francis Verpoort +8 more
TL;DR: Nine novel heterometallic coordination polymers have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, TG analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction, revealing that all complexes present almost identical three-dimensional structures with PtS-type topology.
3D derived N-doped carbon matrix from 2D ZIF-L as an enhanced stable catalyst for chemical fixation
Matteo Ciprian,Karla Hernandez Ruiz,Meruyert Kassymova,Tingting Wang,Serge Zhuiykov,Somboon Chaemchuen,Somboon Chaemchuen,Rong Tu,Francis Verpoort +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the thermal treatment were studied in order to achieve the desired catalyst, and the results showed that metal nanoparticles and N-doping species present in the carbon matrix have a direct influence on the catalytic performance.
