Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Zn2+ ions on third order nonlinear optical behavior and power limiting properties of manganese ferrite nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this paper, the optical band gap decreases with increasing Zn2+ ion concentration, which indicates the blue shift, and the peak at 386nm is attributed to the defects which are originated because of oxygen vacancies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of surface defects in the third order nonlinear optical properties of pristine NiO and Cr doped NiO nanostructures
Pramila S. Menon,Jibi Kunjumon,Manisha Bansal,Sutheertha S. Nair,C. Beryl,G. Vinitha,Tuhin Maity,Priya Mary Abraham,D. Sajan,Reji Philip +9 more
TL;DR: Pristine NiO and 2% Cr doped NiO nanostructures are successfully synthesized by the modified auto-combustion method for the determination and improvement of linear and nonlinear optical behaviours, and for identifying them as suitable materials for optical limiting applications as mentioned in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth and characterization of organic 4-methyl-2-nitroaniline single crystals for nonlinear optical applications
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural, multichannel sensing and optical properties of 2-aminopyridinium diphenylacetate diphenylacetic acid crystal
Ro. Mu. Jauhar,Dharmasivam Mahendiran,Vijayan Viswanathan,Paavai Era,G. Vinitha,Devadasan Velmurugan,P. Murugakoothan +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structural aspects of the grown 2-aminopyridinium diphenylacetate (2-AMD) crystal have been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction study.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural characterization, computational and biological studies of a new third order NLO (1:1) organic adduct: 2-Aminopyrimidine: 3-nitrophthalic acid
TL;DR: In this article, a new 1:1 organic molecular adduct 2-aminopyrimidine: 3-nitrophthalic acid (APNP) was successfully synthesized and single crystals were grown by slow solvent evaporation technique at room temperature.
