Third-order nonlinear optical properties and power limiting behavior of magnesium ferrite under CW laser (532 nm, 50 mW) excitation

TL;DR: In this paper, the third-order nonlinear optical response of heat-treated magnesium ferrite (MgFe2O4) synthesized by simple combustion was studied by Z-scan experiment under continuous wave laser excitation (532nm, 50mW).
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of copper ions on structural and non-linear optical properties in manganese ferrite nanomaterials

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of Mn 1-x Cu x Fe 2 O 4 particles were prepared using chemical co-precipitation method with metal nitrates as precursor materials and the results show that these materials have potential for exploitation towards device applications like optical limiting and switching.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ethylenediaminium di(4-nitrophenolate): a third order NLO material for optical limiting applications.

TL;DR: Thermogravimetric analysis and differential thermal analysis showed that the compound melts at 142.9°C, and the limiting behavior observed with the sample is attributed mainly to nonlinear refraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structural, vibrational, thermal, dielectric and optical properties of third order nonlinear optical single crystal for optical power limiting applications

TL;DR: In this paper, a new metal-organic NLO single crystal of 2-Aminopyridinium bis[hexaaqua(cobalt(II)) sulfate] monohydrate (2APCS) has been obtained by the reaction of aqueous solution of 2A Aminopyridine and cobalt (II) sulfate heptahydrate and by room temperature slow evaporation process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Third order nonlinear optical properties and optical limiting behavior of alkali metal complexes of p-nitrophenol

TL;DR: In this paper, the optical nonlinearity of metal complexes of p-nitrophenolate (M=Li, Na and K) in ethanol was studied by using a continuous wave (cw) diode pumped Nd:YAG laser (532nm, 50mW).
