Heavy metal concentrations in water and bottom sediments of a Mexican reservoir.

TL;DR: Temporal variations of metal concentrations show evidence of the water self-cleaning capacity of the reservoir, despite the high-level metal contamination determined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Major and trace elements in sediments of the upper course of Lerma river

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the bioavailability and distribution of this metal in the Jose Antonio Alzate Dam in the State of Mexico using neutron activation analysis and found that the concentration of mercury in the water column is higher than the maximum acceptable level (10 ng/L).
Journal ArticleDOI
