Compact field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based multi-axial interferometer for simultaneous tilt and distance measurement in the sub-nanometre range
TL;DR: A new highly compact interferometer to allow for traceability and an uncertainty in the Angstrom range was developed and one of its first applications will be the new metrological low-noise atomic force microscope at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous multiple degrees of freedom (DoF) measurement system
TL;DR: In this paper, a modified homodyne Twyman-green interferometer is proposed for 6° of freedom (DoF) measurement with Angstrom resolution for displacement and μrad resolution for angle measurement, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical imaging module for astigmatic detection system.
Wei-Min Wang,Wei-Min Wang,Chung-Hsiang Cheng,Chung-Hsiang Cheng,Gabor Molnar,Ing-Shouh Hwang,Kuang-Yuh Huang,Hans-Ulrich Danzebrink,En-Te Hwu +8 more
TL;DR: An optical imaging module design for an astigmatic detection system (ADS) based on a commercial optical pickup unit (OPU) and it contains a coaxial illuminant for illuminating a specimen that has the potential to be used in high-speed atomic force microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Parallel large-range scanning confocal microscope based on a digital micromirror device
Yunbo Zhang,Sebastian Strube,Gabor Molnar,H.-U. Danzebrink,Gaoliang Dai,Harald Bosse,Wenmei Hou +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-point parallel large-range confocal microscope was designed and developed based on a digital micromirror device (DMD). Operated with specific patterns, the DMD can transform a single light source into multiple beams.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multi-dimensional grating interferometer based on fibre-fed measurement heads arranged in Littrow configuration
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel grating interferometer containing a commercially available, minimized Michelson interferometers and three fibre-fed measurement heads is presented for simultaneous displacement measurements in two perpendicular planes, where beam splitters are located in the fibre heads, therefore the grating is separated from the light source and the photo detector, which influence measurement results by generated heat.
