Journal ArticleDOI
Accurate detection of changes in disease activity in primary Sjögren's syndrome by the European League Against Rheumatism Sjögren's Syndrome Disease Activity Index.
Raphaèle Seror,Raphaèle Seror,Xavier Mariette,Simon Bowman,Gabriel Baron,Jacques-Eric Gottenberg,H Boostma,Elke Theander,Athanasios G. Tzioufas,Claudio Vitali,Philippe Ravaud +10 more
TL;DR: To assess and compare the change of the European League Against Rheumatism Sjögren's Syndrome Disease Activity Index (ESSDAI) with that of other primary Sj Ögren's syndrome (SS) disease activity indexes, an apples-to- apples comparison is considered.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of the ClinESSDAI: a clinical score without biological domain. A tool for biological studies
Raphaèle Seror,Petra M. Meiners,Gabriel Baron,Gabriel Baron,Hendrika Bootsma,Simon J Bowman,Claudio Vitali,Jacques-Eric Gottenberg,Elke Theander,Athanasios G. Tzioufas,Salvatore De Vita,Manel Ramos-Casals,Thomas Dörner,Luca Quartuccio,Philippe Ravaud,Philippe Ravaud,Xavier Mariette +16 more
TL;DR: Psychometric properties of clinESSDAI, disease activity levels and minimal clinically important improvement thresholds and its ability to detect change over time in clinical trials were very close to that of ESSDAI.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Prospective International Study on Adherence to Treatment in 305 Patients With Flaring SLE: Assessment by Drug Levels and Self-Administered Questionnaires.
Nathalie Costedoat-Chalumeau,Frédéric Houssiau,Peter M. Izmirly,Véronique Le Guern,Sandra V. Navarra,Meenakshi Jolly,Guillermo Ruiz-Irastorza,Gabriel Baron,Eric Hachulla,Nancy Agmon-Levin,Yehuda Shoenfeld,Francesca Dall'Ara,Jill P. Buyon,Christophe Deligny,Ricard Cervera,Estibaliz Lazaro,Holy Bezanahary,Gaëlle Leroux,Nathalie Morel,Jean François Viallard,Christian A. Pineau,Lionel Galicier,Ronald F van Vollenhoven,Angela Tincani,Hanh Nguyen,Guillaume Gondran,Noël Zahr,Jacques Pouchot,J.C. Piette,Michelle Petri,David A. Isenberg +30 more
TL;DR: The frequency with which physicians miss nonadherence, together with underreporting by patients, suggests that therapeutic drug monitoring is useful in this setting.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fear-avoidance beliefs about back pain in patients with acute LBP.
Emmanuel Coudeyre,Florence Tubach,François Rannou,Gabriel Baron,Fernand Coriat,Sylvie Brin,Michel Revel,Serge Poiraudeau +7 more
TL;DR: High levels of fear-avoidance beliefs occur early in LBP patients, and key messages on this topic should probably be delivered at a very early stage of the disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
EULAR report on the use of ultrasonography in painful knee osteoarthritis. Part 2: Exploring decision rules for clinical utility
P.G. Conaghan,M-A D'Agostino,Philippe Ravaud,Gabriel Baron,M. Le Bars,Walter Grassi,E. Martin-Mola,Richard J. Wakefield,J. L. Brasseur,Alexander So,Marina Backhaus,Michel Malaise,G.-R. Burmester,N. Schmidely,Paul Emery,Maxime Dougados +15 more
TL;DR: Although it is possible to determine clinical and radiological predictors of OA inflammation in populations, CART analysis could not be used to devise useful clinical decision rules for an individual subject, thus sensitive imaging techniques such as US remain the most useful tool for demonstrating synovial inflammation of the knee at the individual level.
