Microstructure and mechanical properties of wire arc additively manufactured AZ80M magnesium alloy
TL;DR: In this paper, the microstructure and mechanical properties of the WAAM AZ80M were tested and studied, and the results showed that the material was mainly composed of α-Mg, β-mg17Al12 and Al2Y phases and had obvious inhomogeneous characteristics along the deposition direction.

TL;DR: The results revealed that the nanocomposites showed a slightly smaller grain size compared with the matrix and uniform distribution that CNTs could achieve at proper content, and could weaken basal plane texture, but the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the composites were enhanced.
