Journal ArticleDOI
Nibrin, a Novel DNA Double-Strand Break Repair Protein, Is Mutated in Nijmegen Breakage Syndrome
Raymonda Varon,Christine S. Vissinga,Matthias Platzer,Karen M. Cerosaletti,Krystyna H. Chrzanowska,Kathrin Saar,Georg Beckmann,Eva Seemanova,Paul R. Cooper,Norma J. Nowak,Markus Stumm,Corry M.R. Weemaes,Richard A. Gatti,Richard K. Wilson,Martin Digweed,André Rosenthal,Karl Sperling,Patrick Concannon,André Reis +18 more
TL;DR: The positional cloning of a gene encoding a novel protein, nibrin, which contains two modules found in cell cycle checkpoint proteins, a forkhead-associated domain adjacent to a breast cancer carboxy-terminal domain and a truncating 5 bp deletion are described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genomic organization of a 225-kb region in Xq28 containing the gene for X-linked myotubular myopathy (MTM1) and a related gene (MTMR1).
Petra Kioschis,Stefan Wiemann,Nina S. Heiss,Fiona Francis,Fiona Francis,Carmen Götz,Annemarie Poustka,Stefan Taudien,Matthias Platzer,Thomas Wiehe,Georg Beckmann,Jacqueline Weber,Gabriele Nordsiek,André Rosenthal,André Rosenthal +14 more
TL;DR: Although there is only moderate conservation of the exons, the striking similarity in the gene structures indicates that these two genes arose by duplication, suggesting that this event occurred early in evolution long before separation of the human and mouse lineages.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abstract 4035: Preclinical activity of BAY 2927088 in HER2 mutant non-small cell lung cancer
Franziska Siegel,Gizem Karsli-Uzunbas,Kristýna Kotýnková,Quinn McVeigh,Stephan Siegel,Daniel Korr,Volker Schulze,Georg Beckmann,Andrew D. Cherniack,Matthew Meyerson,Heidi Greulich +10 more
TL;DR: Siegel et al. as mentioned in this paper presented the preclinical activity profile of Bay 2927088 in HER2 mutant NSCLC and showed strong antiproliferative activity in an isogenic Ba/F3 cell line panel of HER2 exon20 insertion mutations as well as HER2 point mutations.
