Neutron and weak-charge distributions of the 48Ca nucleus
Gaute Hagen,Gaute Hagen,Andreas Ekström,Andreas Ekström,Christian Forssén,Christian Forssén,Christian Forssén,Gustav R. Jansen,Gustav R. Jansen,Witold Nazarewicz,Witold Nazarewicz,Witold Nazarewicz,Thomas Papenbrock,Thomas Papenbrock,K. A. Wendt,K. A. Wendt,Sonia Bacca,Sonia Bacca,Nir Barnea,B. D. Carlsson,C. Drischler,Kai Hebeler,Morten Hjorth-Jensen,Morten Hjorth-Jensen,Mirko Miorelli,Mirko Miorelli,Giuseppina Orlandini,Giuseppina Orlandini,Achim Schwenk,J. Simonis +29 more
TL;DR: In this article, an ab initio calculation of the neutron distribution of the Neutron-rich nucleus Ca-48 is presented, and it is shown that the difference between the radii of the neutrons and proton distributions is significantly smaller than previously thought.
Journal ArticleDOI
Benchmark Test Calculation of a Four-Nucleon Bound State
Hiroyuki Kamada,A. Nogga,W. Glöckle,E Hiyama,Masayasu Kamimura,Kalman Varga,Y. Suzuki,M. Viviani,A. Kievsky,S. Rosati,Joseph Carlson,Steven C. Pieper,Robert B. Wiringa,Petr Navrátil,Petr Navrátil,B. R. Barrett,N. Barnea,Winfried Leidemann,Giuseppina Orlandini +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the energy eigenvalue results and some wave function properties using the realistic four-nucleon interaction were compared, showing the high accuracy of their present ability to calculate the four-Nucleon bound state.
Journal ArticleDOI
Response functions from integral transforms with a Lorentz kernel
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose to calculate inelastic response functions from the inversion of their integral transform with a Lorentz kernel, which leads to results of excellent accuracy and stability.
Journal ArticleDOI
State dependent effective interaction for the hyperspherical formalism
Nir Barnea,Nir Barnea,Winfried Leidemann,Winfried Leidemann,Giuseppina Orlandini,Giuseppina Orlandini +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effective interaction method, traditionally used in the framework of a harmonic oscillator basis, is applied to the hyperspherical formalism of few-body nuclei.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modern Ab Initio Approaches and Applications in Few-Nucleon Physics with A \ge 4
TL;DR: An overview of the evolution of ab initio methods for few-nucleon systems with A-ge 4 is given in this article, tracing the progress made that today allows precision calculations for these systems.
