Journal ArticleDOI

Transcriptomic analysis of intestinal genes following acquisition of pea enation mosaic virus by the pea aphid Acyrthosiphon pisum.

TL;DR: This work represents the first large-scale analysis of aphid gene regulation following virus acquisition, and suggests that the virus hijacks a constitutive endocytosis-exocytotic mechanism without heavily perturbing cell metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of wheat roots infected with the pathogenic fungus Gaeumannomyces graminis var. tritici on gene expression of the biocontrol bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens Pf29Arp.

TL;DR: The data showed that the association of the pathogenic fungus with the roots strongly altered Pf29Arp adaptation with differences between early and late G. tritici-colonized and necrotic roots.
Journal ArticleDOI

Using transcriptome profiling to characterize QTL regions on chicken chromosome 5

TL;DR: Three different but complementary approaches are proposed to improve characterization of a chicken QTL region for abdominal fatness (AF) previously detected on chromosome 5 (GGA5), with the first revealing a QTL undetected using the whole population and the second providing functional information about aQTL region through genes related to the trait and controlled by this region (HMGCS1).
