The Dependence Receptor UNC5H2/B Triggers Apoptosis via PP2A-Mediated Dephosphorylation of DAP Kinase
Céline Guenebeaud,David Goldschneider,Marie Castets,Catherine Guix,Guillaume Chazot,Céline Delloye-Bourgeois,Avital Eisenberg-Lerner,Galit Shohat,Mingjie Zhang,Vincent Laudet,Adi Kimchi,Agnès Bernet,Patrick Mehlen +12 more
TL;DR: It is shown that, in the absence of netrin-1, recruitment of PP2A to UNC5H2/B allows the activation of DAPk via aPP2A-mediated dephosphorylation and that this mechanism is involved in angiogenesis regulation.
Journal ArticleDOI
DCC constrains tumour progression via its dependence receptor activity
Marie Castets,Laura Broutier,Yann Molin,Marie Brevet,Guillaume Chazot,Nicolas Gadot,Armelle Paquet,Laetitia Mazelin,Loraine Jarrosson-Wuilleme,Jean-Yves Scoazec,Agnès Bernet,Patrick Mehlen +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that DCC functions as a tumour suppressor via its ability to trigger tumour cell apoptosis, which is associated with an increase in the number and aggressiveness of intestinal tumours in a predisposing APC mutant context.
Journal ArticleDOI
Satellite cell loss and impaired muscle regeneration in Selenoprotein N deficiency
Perrine Castets,Anne Bertrand,Maud Beuvin,Arnaud Ferry,Fabien Le Grand,Fabien Le Grand,Marie Castets,Guillaume Chazot,Mathieu Rederstorff,Alain Krol,Alain Lescure,Norma B. Romero,Pascale Guicheney,Valérie Allamand +13 more
TL;DR: It is described for the first time a major physiological function of SelN in skeletal muscles, as a key regulator of SC function, which likely plays a central role in the pathophysiological mechanism leading to SEPN1-RM.
Journal ArticleDOI
Targeting netrin-1/DCC interaction in diffuse large B-cell and mantle cell lymphomas.
Laura Broutier,Marion Creveaux,Jonathan Vial,Antonin Tortereau,Jean-Guy Delcros,Guillaume Chazot,Mark J. McCarron,Sophie Léon,Céline Pangault,Nicolas Gadot,Amélie Colombe,Marie-Laure Boulland,Jonathan Blachier,Julien C. Marie,Alexandra Traverse-Glehen,Olivier Donzé,Catherine Chassagne-Clément,Gilles Salles,Karin Tarte,Patrick Mehlen,Marie Castets +20 more
TL;DR: Using a transgenic mouse model, it is reported here that inhibition of DCC‐induced apoptosis is associated with lymphomagenesis and interference with the netrin‐1/DCC interaction could represent a promising therapeutic strategy in netrin•1‐positive DLBCL and MCL.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intracellular Phosphate and ATP Depletion Measured by Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy in Patients Receiving Maintenance Hemodialysis.
Guillaume Chazot,Sandrine Lemoine,Gabriel Kocevar,Emilie Kalbacher,Dominique Sappey-Marinier,Dominique Sappey-Marinier,Olivier Rouvière,Laurent Juillard +7 more
TL;DR: Phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy examination of patients with ESKD during hemodialysis treatment confirmed that depurated Pi originates from the intracellular compartment, raising the possibility that excessive dialytic depuration of phosphate might adversely affect the intrACEllular availability of high-energy phosphates and ultimately, cellular metabolism.
