Eco-friendly synthesis of size-controllable amine-functionalized graphene quantum dots with antimycoplasma properties

TL;DR: It is confirmed that hydrogen peroxide and ammonia play a synergistic role on graphene oxide (GO), in which the former cuts the GO into small pieces and the latter passivates the active surface to give amine-modified GQDs, which for the first time exhibits good antimycoplasma properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel glucose colorimetric sensor based on intrinsic peroxidase-like activity of C60-carboxyfullerenes.

TL;DR: The results indicate that C60[C(COOH)2]2/glucose oxidase (GOx)/TMB system provides a novel colorimetric sensor for glucose and shows good response toward glucose detection over a range of 1.0-40μM with a limit of detection 0.5μM (3σ/slope).
Journal ArticleDOI

Biodegradable, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Glutathione Dual Responsive Nanoparticles for Potential Programmable Paclitaxel Release

TL;DR: Considering the heterogeneous redox potential gradient, the PTX loaded TKNs (PTX-TKNs) might first respond to the extracellular ROS and then to the intracellular GSH, achieving a programmable release of PTX at the tumor site.
Journal ArticleDOI

Removal of multifold heavy metal contaminations in drinking water by porous magnetic Fe2O3@AlO(OH) superstructure

TL;DR: In this article, a hierarchical porous magnetic Fe2O3@AlO(OH) superstructure nanomaterial was prepared by a facile method involving ethylene glycol as both cross linker and stabilizing agent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of a Z-scheme heterojunction for high-efficiency visible-light-driven photocatalytic CO2 reduction

TL;DR: The Z-scheme heterojunction has a high separation efficiency of electron-hole pairs with strong redox ability and a wide light response range, which makes it a great opportunity for the conversion of CO2 to value-added chemicals as mentioned in this paper.
