Seismic imaging of the magmatic underpinnings beneath the Altiplano-Puna volcanic complex from the joint inversion of surface wave dispersion and receiver functions

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented new 3D seismic images of the APVC crust based on a joint inversion of Rayleigh-wave dispersion from ambient seismic noise and P-wave receiver functions from broadband seismic stations recently deployed in the area.
Journal ArticleDOI

Receiver function analyses of Uturuncu volcano, Bolivia and vicinity

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that the upwarping in the Moho and the bottom of the Altiplano-Puna magma body coincide with an elongated vertical feature seen in tomography studies of the crust beneath Uturuncu volcano.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ambient Infrasound Noise, Station Performance, and Their Relation to Land Cover across Alaska

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors compute power spectral densities for 2020 data and compile new ambient infrasound low-and high-noise models for the region, and compare time series of root-mean-squared (rms) amplitudes with wind data and high-resolution land cover data to derive noise-wind speed relationships for several land cover categories.
