Detection of deposition rate of plasma-polymerized films by quartz crystal microbalance
Shigeru Kurosawa,Tomoya Hirokawa,Kazuya Kashima,Hidenobu Aizawa,Dae Sang Han,Yasuo Yoshimi,Yuji Okada,Kiyoshi Yase,Jun Miyake,Minoru Yoshimoto,Jöns Hilborn +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the deposition rates of polymers were determined by the quartz crystal microbalance technique using the same polymerization conditions (100 W RF and 100 Pa vapor pressure) for the various monomers, and the average deposition rates were proportional to the polymerization time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Turning of contact angle on glass plates coated with plasma-polymerized styrene, allylamine and acrylic acid
Hidenobu Aizawa,Shigeru Kurosawa,Kuniyuki Kobayashi,Kazuya Kashima,Tomoya Hirokawa,Yasuo Yoshimi,Minoru Yoshimoto,Toshihiro Hirotsu,Jun Miyake,Hideo Tanaka +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the contact angles of plasma-polymerized (pp)-films were measured on glass plates coated with poly styrene, poly allylamine and poly acrylic acid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Conventional diagnosis of C-reactive protein in serum using latex piezoelectric immunoassay
TL;DR: An integrated immunosensor system to combine a quartz crystal microbalance with the agglutination reaction of immunized latex beads succeeded in measuring the concentration of CRP in the human serum as CRP Sensor II.
Journal ArticleDOI
Conventional diagnosis of Treponema pallidum in serum using latex piezoelectric immunoassay
Hidenobu Aizawa,Hidenobu Aizawa,Shigeru Kurosawa,Manami Tanaka,Shin-ichi Wakida,Zainal Abidin Talib,Jong-Won Park,Minoru Yoshimoto,Makoto Muratsugu,Jöns Hilborn,Jun Miyake,Hideo Tanaka +11 more
TL;DR: A conventional immunosensor for Treponema pallidum is developed to combine quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) with the agglutination reaction of immunized latex beads to measure the concentration of TP in the human serum within 10 min by QCM method.

Elastic wave sensor
Makoto Nara,Hiromi Yatsuda,Takahashi Hidenori,Mori Toshimasa,Shigeru Kurosawa,Hidenobu Aizawa +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an elastic wave sensor is used to enhance the measuring precision of a substance to be measured in an elastic-wave sensor, where a response membrane is formed on the sensing region of the elastic wave element and a non-response film 18 sowing no adsorbability with respect to the substance being measured, and the oscillation characteristics of the measuring elastic wave elements are compared with each other to cancel the change shift of the oscillations caused by the temperature rise due to the stirring of the substance.
