Detection of deposition rate of plasma-polymerized films by quartz crystal microbalance

TL;DR: In this article, the deposition rates of polymers were determined by the quartz crystal microbalance technique using the same polymerization conditions (100 W RF and 100 Pa vapor pressure) for the various monomers, and the average deposition rates were proportional to the polymerization time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Conventional diagnosis of C-reactive protein in serum using latex piezoelectric immunoassay

TL;DR: An integrated immunosensor system to combine a quartz crystal microbalance with the agglutination reaction of immunized latex beads succeeded in measuring the concentration of CRP in the human serum as CRP Sensor II.

Elastic wave sensor

TL;DR: In this paper, an elastic wave sensor is used to enhance the measuring precision of a substance to be measured in an elastic-wave sensor, where a response membrane is formed on the sensing region of the elastic wave element and a non-response film 18 sowing no adsorbability with respect to the substance being measured, and the oscillation characteristics of the measuring elastic wave elements are compared with each other to cancel the change shift of the oscillations caused by the temperature rise due to the stirring of the substance.
