Structure, ferroelectric properties, and magnetic properties of the La-doped bismuth ferrite
Zhenxiang Cheng,A.H. Li,Xiaolin Wang,Shi Xue Dou,Kiyoshi Ozawa,Hideo Kimura,Shujun Zhang,Thomas R. Shrout +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of structure transformations depend upon the doping level of Bi1−xLaxFeO3 ceramics with x=0, 0.8La0.2 and Bi0.7La 0.3 have been synthesized by solid state reaction starting from metal oxides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved ferroelectric properties in multiferroic BiFeO3 thin films through La and Nb codoping
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Nb doping on the ferroelectric properties of a thin film was investigated and a very large remanent electrical polarization value of $80.3m was observed in the Nb and La codoped thin film.
Journal ArticleDOI
Large magnetoelectric coupling in magnetically short-range ordered Bi5Ti3FeO15 film
Hongyang Zhao,Hongyang Zhao,Hideo Kimura,Zhenxiang Cheng,Minoru Osada,Jianli Wang,Jianli Wang,Xiaolin Wang,Shi Xue Dou,Yan Liu,Jianding Yu,Takao Matsumoto,Tetsuya Tohei,Naoya Shibata,Yuichi Ikuhara +14 more
TL;DR: A robust room-temperature magneto-electric coupling is demonstrated in a bismuth-layer-structured ferroelectric Bi5Ti3FeO15 with high ferro electric Curie temperature of ~1000 K and local structural characterizations reveal the existence of Fe-rich nanodomains, which cause a short-range magnetic ordering at ~620‽K.
Journal ArticleDOI
Colossal Electroresistance and Giant Magnetoresistance in Doped PbPdO2 Thin Films
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystallization, phase evolution and ferroelectric properties of sol–gel-synthesized Ba(Ti0.8Zr0.2)O3–x(Ba0.7Ca0.3)TiO3 thin films
Zengmei Wang,Zengmei Wang,Kuan Zhao,Xinli Guo,Wei Sun,Hua-long Jiang,Xue-qin Han,Xutang Tao,Zhenxiang Cheng,Hongyang Zhao,Hongyang Zhao,Hideo Kimura,Guoliang Yuan,Jiang Yin,Zhiguo Liu +14 more
TL;DR: A lead-free piezoelectric material with ultra-high properties, Ba(Ti0.8Zr0.2)O3-x(Ba0.7Ca0.3)TiO3(BZT-xBCT) nanocrystals was synthesized via a sol-gel method, and corresponding thin films were also deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by a spin-coating approach as discussed by the authors.
